Ravens player arrested overnight for DUI

Around 2am, Baltimore County Police observed a 2014 Ford Mustang speeding in the area of the Towson Town Center on Dulaney Valley Rd. Police stopped the vehicle in the area of Dulaney Valley Rd & I-695.

Upon speaking with the driver the Officer suspected the driver to be under the influence and subjected him to numerous field sobriety tests. After failing multiple field sobriety tests the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Towson precinct.

The driver has been identified at 23 year old Bernard Pierce, A player with the Baltimore Ravens.

Pierce is charged with:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol

  • Driving while impaired by alcohol

  • Exceeding maximum speed: 55 Mph in a posted 30 Mph zone

  • Driving vehicle in excess of reasonable and prudent speed on a highway

While enroute to the Towson precinct Pierce uttered "Do you know what happened the last time a Ravens player got a DUI? I'm getting cut tomorrow, not like you care"
