Shooting involving Police injures one in Owings Mills

At 1:05am Baltimore County Police units responded to a home in the 3000 block of Hunting Ridge Drive in the Owings Mills area. Units were dispatched on an unknown trouble call. During their response information was received that made police believe it was a domestic related incident.

When Officers arrived on the scene they could hear a commotion inside the home. Officers forced the door open after no one answered it.

Officers confronted an adult male inside the home. The male then produced what appeared to be a gun. Multiple Officers fearing for their safety fired on the suspect. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown. An adult female and two children were also found in the home.

The incident is currently under investigation.
