Woman Assaulted in Double Rock Park
On August 1st, just after 7:30pm, Baltimore County Police were dispatched to the area of Hiss Ave & Fowler Ave for a reported robbery. Units arrived to find a 26 year old female lying in the grass at the Parkville Community Gardens. The female was suffering from trauma to her head and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police investigating the incident say that the victim was walking her dog in the park when an unknown male appeared from behind some bamboo. The suspect then grabbed the victims dog and demanded money from the victim. She offered him her phone but he only wanted money.
The suspect then struck the victim in the head with an unknown object before fleeing the area. Nothing was taken from the victim.
This case is still under investigation by Baltimore County Police.
