Suspect Charged For Fatal Randallstown Shooting

A suspect has been charged in connection with a fatal August 5 shooting in Randallstown.

Just before 6 p.m. August 5, police responded to Fat Daddy’s Crabs in the 9000 block of Liberty Rd 21133 for a report of a person who had fallen. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. He was declared deceased at the scene.

The investigation of this incident indicates that the victim, 32-year-old Daniel Anthony Lyles of Parkville, worked at Fat Daddy’s Crabs. Lyles became involved in an argument with the business owner, 44-year-old Kresslin Vondez Clark Sr. During the argument, Clark shot Lyles once in the upper body.

Clark told police that Lyles came toward him and threatened to kill him while reaching into his waistband.

A folding knife was later found clipped to the front area of Lyles’ belt.

On September 7, Clark was indicted by a Baltimore County Grand Jury for second-degree murder and related charges. He was released on $250,000 bail.

This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.
