Pedestrian Struck On Frederick Rd.
A pedestrian died after he was struck by a car on Frederick Road Monday morning.
The preliminary crash investigation has indicated that around 10 a.m., a man was attempting to stop his dog from running into the roadway. He stepped into the east-bound lane of Frederick Road near River Road and was struck by a 2000 Toyota Solara that had been traveling east-bound on Frederick Road.
The injured man was transported to the R Adams Cowley shock Trauma Center where he died just after 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. He has been identified as 41-year-old Paul Gutoski Johnson of Pasadena.
The Toyota Solara remained at the scene.
The dog was not injured.
This crash is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.
