Man Walks In To Hospital After Drive By Shooting in Hillendale

Baltimore County Police are investigating after a man entered a local hospital emergency room with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The victim, an adult male, was outside in the unit block of Morrislea Court in the Ashlar Hill area of Precinct Six around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night. Police received calls after multiple shots were fired at the victim, who was struck at least once, from a moving vehicle. Police believe that the victim was the intended target of the shooting.

The suspect or suspects fled the scene in an unknown type of vehicle. The victim responded to a local hospital to seek treatment and is expected to survive his injuries.

Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit continues to investigate this crime.
